2018 Seuls en Scène Festival

Now in its seventh year, Princeton University’s Seuls en Scène Festival introduces U.S. audiences to top on- and off-stage talents from France each September. Highlights of the 2018 edition include Harlem Quartet, director Elise Vigier’s adaptation of James Baldwin’s 1979 novel Just Above My Head; Gonzo Conférence, an inquiry into rock music and theater by the versatile Fanny de Chaillé, whose body of work incorporates the visual, choreographic, and dramatic arts; and Doreen, written and directed by David Geselson, who also co-stars as the real-life philosopher André Gorz in the final hour before he and his incurably ill wife commit suicide together.
