Sequestered in his opulent country estate with a team of party strategists and his increasingly unhappy wife, flagging presidential candidate Michel Dedieu prepares for a final debate with the sitting president. But when he realizes his party is setting him up for a fall, Dedieu decides to be true to himself and speak his mind — at the risk of his life.
Written and directed by sterling character actor Niels Arestrup (A Prophet), who also appears as the shadowy party boss Georges, this intellectual thriller takes a long hard look at the culture of manipulation and mendacity in contemporary politics.
