French comedian Gad Elmaleh has now embarked on the newest chapter of his career: performing for American audiences. Gad Elmaleh is a French-Moroccan stand-up comedian and actor from Casablanca. Making his onscreen debut in 1997 in XXL, he initially began as a humourist and stand-up comedian, but has since branched out into working in film a lot more heavily — and is considered a brilliant actor. Touted as the “Ben Stiller of France” and the “Jerry Seinfeld of French Comedy,” Gad Elmaleh is arguably the biggest and most loved comedic star in France.
