This year, Chicago Sister Cities International (CSCI) and its Paris Committee are proud to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the sister city relationship between Chicago and Paris.
In honor of this special anniversary, George Lepauw, Franco-American pianist and founder of the International Beethoven Project, will give a lecture-recital exploring the development of French music from the great Lully in the 17th Century to Debussy at the turn of the 20th. This presentation and performance will attempt to shed light on the uniqueness of the French style in music.
Complimentary wine and snacks will be served.
Event is free, but a ticket is required as space is limited.
