The Bolshoi Ballet, New York City Ballet and Paris Opera Ballet come together to perform George Balanchine’s Jewels on the stage where it premiered 50 years ago. Inspired by the dazzling work of jewelry designer Claude Arpels, the piece is divided into three sections, each with music by a different composer: Emeralds (Fauré), Rubies (Stravinsky), and Diamonds (Tchaikovsky).
