Mostly Mozart Festival: Americans in Paris

This year’s Mostly Mozart Festival includes Americans in Paris, with the resident orchestra performing a new edition of Gershwin’s An American in Paris and the overture to Bernstein’s Candide under Louis Langrée’s baton. In keeping with the festival’s name, the program also includes plenty of Mozart — both his Piano Concerto No. 17, with guest soloist Emanuel Ax, and his rarely presented Adagio and Rondo in C minor, featuring the glass harmonica.
