As part of France-Atlanta 2017, Georgia Tech will present “Nouvelles Richesses”, an exhibition submitted by France for the 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale that explores global themes such as sustainability, urban development, social infrastructure and affordability.
The collection represents a collaboration between curators Frédéric Bonnet, OBRAS and Collectif AJAP14, and embodies the vitality of a new generation of French architecture. To mark the exhibition’s opening, Paris-based architects Jordi Pimas and Grichka Martinetti will introduce the exhibition at an opening reception and give a lecture on the project’s conception and realization.
In parallel with “Nouvelles Richesses”, the Georgia Tech College of Design will also display a second exposition, Ajap 2014. This series of 10 free-standing dodecahedrons introduces visitors to France’s most promising architects and landscaper designers under 35 and their recent work.
