Rendez-Vous with French Cinema

The Film Society of Lincoln Center showcases some of the finest recent releases from France during the 22nd edition of Rendez-Vous With French Cinema. The festival opens with the North American premiere of Django, about the legendary jazz guitarist’s escape from German-occuped Paris in 1943. Director Etienne Comar and stars Reda Kateb and Cécile de France will be in attendance. The closing event is the U.S. premiere of Jérôme Salle’s The Odyssey, a biopic about Jacques Cousteau starring Lambert Wilson, Audrey Tautou, and Pierre Niney.
