Sofitel Wine Days: World Tour of Wine

Sofitel New York, the stylish Midtown hotel with a decidedly French accent, presents a two-hour world tour of wines in its signature restaurant, Gaby Brasserie Française. Five geographic stations — North America, South America, Australia/New Zealand, Europe, and Sofitel’s home country, France — will each feature four native wines — two red and two white — and three complementary canapes, designed by Executive Chef Robert Hohmann and Nicolas Blanc, Certified Specialist of Wine.

The World Tour of Wine is part of Sofitel Wine Days: Sofitel’s 41-day celebration of wine, from Sept. 21 through Oct. 31.

France

Asparagus wrapped in a savory crepe with herbed cheese
English cucumbers filled with brunoise of ratatouille of vegetables
Gravalox on pumpernickel crouton with crème fraiche
