This November, the French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF)’s popular Art de Vivre series The Art of Sex & Seduction returns with a provocative panel discussion featuring world-famous writers whose tales of love, lust, and desire shocked cultural norms and helped reinvent the sexual landscape. Let’s Talk Sex! will take place on Thursday, November 10 at FIAF’s Florence Gould Hall.
FIAF is delighted to welcome a stellar group of panelists: Vanity Fair’s Toni Bentley, author of The Surrender: An Erotic Memoir; Erica Jong, author of over 25 books including the feminist classic Fear of Flying, Sugar in My Bowl, and Fear of Dying; Daphne Merkin, novelist, essayist, and author of Enchantment, Dreaming of Hitler, and New York Times Notable Book The Fame Lunches; and Amy Sohn, columnist, screenwriter, and author of Prospect Park West, The Actress, and Run Catch Kiss. The talk will be moderated by Elisabeth Ladenson, Columbia University French literature professor and author of Proust’s Lesbianism and Dirt for Art’s Sake.
