Host Marième Ndiaye travels to meet French-speaking Canadians who have a major and positive impact on their community and their region through local initiatives. Kim and Maude Limoges, with their company Aventure Rose-des-Vents in Sainte-Rose-du-Nord, together with Jérôme Landry and Marie-Eve Godbout, of Valmont Plein Air in Cap-Chat, offer tourists and locals alike an opportunity to discover their regions in a different way. | Documentary directed by Henry Bernadet and Catherine Leblanc, presented by Marième Ndiaye (Canada, 2018).

Who could forget the thundering indignation of François Cavanna, the father of satirical newspapers Hara-Kiri and Charlie Hebdo? Through interviews conducted shortly before his death in 2014, forgotten archives and personal accounts, broadcast for the first time, Denis and Nina Robert paint the portrait of a veritable icon of a rebellious and totally free press. | Documentary directed by Denis and Nina Robert (France, 2015).

3. Chacun son monde: Kalinagos, la mémoire des ancêtres

Halfway between Guadeloupe and Martinique, the independent island of Dominica is amongst the most beautiful and authentic in the Caribbean. Pascal Sarragot and Floriane Brisotto immerse themselves in the daily life of the Kalinagos: While Pascal journeys deep into the forest with Nanichi, Floriane follows Louisette to the market in Roseau. | Documentary directed by Pascal Sarragot (France, 2017).
