Vigils and gatherings in the US and in Canada following the Paris attacks

As early as Friday night, people gathered, talked, and sang on Union Square in New York City to express their solidarity with Paris. Similar silent vigils and other displays of solidarity happened in cities across North America, and many more are scheduled to take place over the weekend.

If you are in the United States or in Canada and plan to attend a vigil for the Paris attacks, please email us your pictures at cthiery@france-amerique.com (don’t forget to include your name and the city you’re in) and we’ll post them on our Facebook page over the weekend.
