Ce pourrait e\u0302tre un fait divers rapporte\u0301 par la presse locale. Max Le Corre, ancienne gloire de la boxe remonte\u0301e sur le ring, manque de tuer le maire de sa ville bretonne pour venger sa fille, abuse\u0301e par l\u2019e\u0301dile. Une histoire malheureusement banale, e\u0301chappe\u0301e du monde d\u2019avant #MeToo, cocktail de sexe, de pouvoir et de magouilles politico-maffieuses. La \u00ab fille qu\u2019on appelle \u00bb, traduction litte\u0301rale de call girl<\/em>, se pre\u0301nomme Laura. Quatre ans plus to\u0302t, a\u0302ge\u0301e de seulement seize ans, elle a brusquement quitte\u0301 le lyce\u0301e et son pe\u0300re pour aller a\u0300 Rennes, avec le projet flou de travailler dans la mode. C\u2019est en tout cas ce qu\u2019elle raconte aux policiers qui rec\u0327oivent sa de\u0301position, sans qu\u2019on sache, dans un premier temps, contre qui et pour quelle raison elle porte plainte.<\/p>

Au fil de phrases au passe\u0301 qui s\u2019e\u0301tirent comme une pelote qu\u2019on de\u0301vide, Tanguy Viel e\u0301gre\u0300ne les de\u0301tails qui ont conduit la jeune femme au commissariat. Voyant sa fille sans travail ni logement, Max a demande\u0301 au maire, qui l\u2019emploie comme chauffeur, de recevoir Laura. En quelques secondes, a\u0300 peine un regard, la me\u0301canique de l\u2019emprise s\u2019est mise en marche. Que signifie le consentement quand il existe une telle ine\u0301galite\u0301, d\u2019a\u0302ge, de position sociale, entre les deux parties? Que vaut la parole d\u2019une jeune femme qui a pose\u0301 nue dans des magazines contre celle d\u2019un maire devenu ministre ? Que pe\u0300se la cole\u0300re d\u2019un boxeur terrasse\u0301 par le combat de trop face a\u0300 son employeur tout puissant ?<\/p>

Entre trage\u0301die et roman policier, Tanguy Viel met en place un dispositif sans e\u0301chappatoire qui enserre une poigne\u0301e de personnages sortis d\u2019un film noir a\u0300 l\u2019ancienne : Max, Laura, le maire Quentin Le Bars, arche\u0301type du notable de province, mais aussi Franck, ge\u0301rant de casino en costume blanc et artisan des basses \u0153uvres, He\u0301le\u0300ne, sa s\u0153ur, ancienne prostitue\u0301e qui re\u0300gne sur les entrai\u0302neuses du me\u0302me casino, deux policiers embarrasse\u0301s et un garde du corps a\u0300 la ga\u0302chette facile. Dans ce re\u0301cit qui fonce droit vers un de\u0301nouement dramatique, le romancier scrute les e\u0301vitements tapis dans la langue, les fausses e\u0301vidences et les phrases toutes faites pour mettre des mots sur ce qui n\u2019est pas nomme\u0301. Tout se joue dans les interstices, le flou, le ressenti de Laura, a\u0300 qui son avocat fait comprendre qu\u2019elle n\u2019est pas une \u00ab bonne victime \u00bb. De ce combat a\u0300 armes ine\u0301gales, on sait d\u2019avance qu\u2019elle ne sortira pas vainqueure. Elle est pourtant de celles qui, par leur courage et leurs mots, ont contribue\u0301 a\u0300 fissurer le vieux monde.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
