Hakim El Karoui: Understanding the French Legislative Elections

The French-American Foundation USA and the Alliance Program at Columbia University are delighted to invite you on June 16 at 12 pm EST for a digital event led by Hakim El Karoui, senior fellow at Institut Montaigne and head of the Paris office of the Brunswick advisory firm, who will address the new French political landscape in a time of political anomie.

With voting being driven by personal interest, political debates on the decline, and populism rising, Mr. El Karoui will share predictions for the state of the French political landscape into 2022 and beyond. The discussion will be moderated by Alexis Buisson, U.S. correspondent of the French daily newspaper La Croix.
