New York-based French sculptor Gaëlle Hintzy-Marcel will present her work in an exhibition titled Ligne de Vie (Lifeline, Line of Life), opening on June 11 at the Par Excellence showroom in NoHo. “My work is mainly figurative,” she says of her slender, almost Giacometti-like bronze, pewter, and plaster figures. “I use positions and body lines in my sculptures to share my emotions and my vision of the world. My sculptures speak of balance, femininity, questioning, and concentration.”
