“La Machine de Turing” in Los Angeles

OCTOBER 27, 2022

Théâtre Raymond Kabbaz
10361 West Pico Boulevard
Los Angeles, CA 90064

Alan Turing was the English mathematician and computer science pioneer responsible for breaking the Nazis’ Enigma code during World War II, only to be prosecuted for homosexual activity and driven to suicide. Benedict Cumberbatch fans will know his story from the 2014 movie The Imitation Game. La Machine de Turing is a theatrical take on the riveting and ultimately tragic tale. A hit in France, the play scored four Molières in 2019, including best play and best director (Tristan Petitgirard); Benoit Solès won both the author and the actor awards. In French with English supertitles.
