La Maison Française of NYU to Honor Louise Mushikiwabo
APRIL 16, 2022
La Maison Française of New York University will honor Louise Mushikiwabo, who was Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs for eleven years before she was elected Secretary General of the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie, at its annual benefit gala, to be held on April 16 at 6:30 pm EST. The event will raise funds for La Maison Française’s program of lectures, readings, conferences, festivals, art exhibits, concerts, and special events.
One of the most active centers of cultural and intellectual exchange between the French-speaking world and the United States, La Maison Française of NYU has for over 60 years welcomed thousands of literary, artistic, scholarly, and political luminaries for events which are free and open to the public.
