Limoges Enamels and a Bronze Louis XIV: The Gregory Gift

It only makes sense that the late founder of Vendome Press, known for its beautifully illustrated books on the arts, architecture, interior design, travel, and other sources of aesthetic pleasure, would have collected exquisite objects. The Gregory Gift presents 28 works of fine and decorative arts that he bequeathed to the Frick Collection. Among these are 15 Limoges enamels, a gilt-bronze figure of Louis XIV, and an 18^th-century British musical automaton rhinoceros clock.
