After a successful run at the National Building Museum in Washington D.C., Notre-Dame de Paris: The Augmented Exhibition is coming to the Historic New Orleans Collection. Launched on the three-year anniversary of the 2019 fire, it is the work of the innovative French start-up Histovery, in collaboration with the public institution in charge of the conservation and restoration of Notre-Dame de Paris. From the first stones to the marriage of Henri IV, the coronation of Napoleon, and the current restoration effort, visitors will use a touch-screen tablet to “meet the builders of yesterday and today” and relive the cathedral’s 850-year history.
