Highlights of the New York-born Vogue-model-turned-photographer Lee Miller’s film-worthy life story range from collaborating with her compatriot (and lover) Man Ray in Paris to documenting the liberation of that city as a war correspondent during World War II. The Woman Who Broke Boundaries: Photographer Lee Miller showcases some 130 of her images, with an emphasis on her portraits of writers and artists. Many of these were associated with the Surrealist movement in Paris, whose influence is evident in her own work.
