In the early 1950s, a France Soir reporter named Véronique Passani interviewed American movie star Gregory Peck in Paris. The two later married, and the native Parisian relocated to Los Angeles, where she became known both for her philanthropy and for her style. Paris to Hollywood: The Fashion and Influence of Véronique and Gregory Peck displays dozens of outfits – many haute couture – by Yves Saint Laurent, Guy Laroche, Pierre Cardin, André Courrèges, and other designers she favored, providing a survey of trends in women’s fashions from the 1950s through the 1990s.
