France-Amérique Live – A Conversation with Molly Wilkinson

JUNE 23, 2021 – 1 pm EST

Tune to France-Amérique‘s Instagram page on June 23 at 1 pm EST (7 pm French time, 10 am PST) for a conversation between American pastry chef and instructor Molly Wilkinson, live from her 18th-century apartment in Versailles, and our Instagram editor, Léanne Ansar!

Originally from Dallas, Texas, Molly Wilkinson first discovered Paris while on a student exchange program. She finished her marketing degree and settled in France in 2013. She’s now a Cordon Bleu-trained pastry chef and uses Zoom to teach Americans how to bake eclairs, madeleines, macarons, and apple tarte tatin, one of her favorite desserts. All this time spent teaching inspired the chef to write her first cookbook, Pastry Made Simple, to be published in English on June 8.

Molly Wilkinson will be profiled in our upcoming July issue – our Bastille Day & Gastronomy Issue! – as part of a series on “Frenchfluencers,” American instagrammers who settled in France and made French culture, gastronomy, fashion and art de vivre their trademark.
